UK banks set for recovery, says bail-out chief

Britain’s part-nationalised banks are on course to return “tens of billions of pounds in much-needed public funds”, according to the man charged with overseeing the taxpayer’s stake in RBS and Lloyds Banking Group.

Glen Moreno, in a sales pitch to the City, says both banks “should return to significant profit as the economy recovers” and should be attractive to investors.
