Hunt for managers to serve a sovereign

One of the most intense subjects of speculation at the private equity conference in Dubai in December was which sovereign wealth fund in the Middle East had retained headhunters to find a new head of private equity.

At the same time, the China Investment Corporation, the youngest of the sovereign wealth funds, has been running job advertisements in everything from The China Daily to the Economist as well as launching its own unique recruitment website.
